The Iriquois have lived in these lands since the cyclopian ice walls of the last ice age retreated and left deep fertile soil in its wake with many lakes like Ontario and the finger lakes carved in its wake. Around the turn of the 16th century French Fur Trappers made there way down to virgin territory whose earth bore the fruit of the Seneca.
